Together with BGE, you and more than 300,000 other PeakRewards participants are reducing the amount of electricity used during periods of “peak demand” — helping avoid power interruptions, maintain reliable service and keep down the cost of electricity for everyone.
Air Conditioning Program
Gives participants a way to reduce peak demand on hot days and save every summer with up to $100 in bill credits from June through September.
Electric Water Heater Program
This program was closed effective April 1, 2021
Multifamily Program
Participating multifamily properties get an air conditioning switch or thermostat installed in each unit and residents are automatically enrolled in the PeakRewards program at no additional cost.
Trade Ally Program
Allows eligible HVAC contractors who work with BGE customers to earn rebates for their participation.
